So today is the first of five installments of our first-ever Staff Appreciation Week here at CrossFit 781! I wanted to take a second to highlight the wonderful staff members that we have the pleasure of having at our gym. Each member of our team brings unique qualities to the table that enable everyone in our community to grow and flourish as athletes, and I, for one, am grateful for each of them every single day. I know you guys and gals are too!

So, without further ado (and in no particular order), here is your first (two!!):

So all of you know the gorgeous ginger that hangs out behind the front desk a few days a week, runs like a gazelle, and that has been handling all of your membership questions for the past year– Miss Nicole Robicheau! Nicole graciously accepted a job offer last year after we lost our previous Accounts Manager. The only issue with this was that at any given time, Nicole has no less than 3 jobs. And she can’t say no because she is way too nice. So since I will be out on maternity leave in a few short weeks, I figured it was a good time to give Nicole back the time she so deserves, and hire someone to man the front desk and our clients. And that’s exactly what we did last week. More on this below.

Nicole has not only handled all of our clients’ accounts over the past year, she has also helped plan events, drew fun drawings on the board for every holiday, prepared veteran slideshows for Memorial Day, saved the day when our technology malfunctioned, and has attended every dang event we have ever hosted at 781 with bells on. Not to mention she crafts like Martha Stewart and handled a hot glue gun on Pinterest night like I’ve never seen before. And I know she’s my best bud but that doesn’t count ;). So please take a moment to comment below and tell Nicole what a wonderful job she has done over the past year. Handling 200 membership accounts is a very thankless job, and a very stressful one! Thank you Nicole for stepping in when we needed you most, and for being a part of our community day in and day out.

So who will be filling such large shoes?? Welcome our new Office Manager, Miss Jenna Curren! A few of you have met Jenna this past week while she’s been going through some 781 training. Jenna is a South Shore native that is one smart cookie! She had this to say to all of you:

Hello CrossFit 781! My name is Jenna. I’m 24 years old and I’m from Scituate, though I currently live in Quincy. I’ve worked throughout the South Shore for a few years now so if you think you recognize me from somewhere, chances are you’re right!

A little about me: I’m an English major, so it’s a given that I love reading! Harry Potter is one of my favorite series. I also enjoy watching Friends and How I Met Your Mother from beginning to end about once a month. I love animals of all kinds and frequently make friends with other people’s pets, although I do have critters of my own – one dog and two cats. I’ll be at the gym weekly, Monday through Thursday, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you all!

An animal lover who is intelligent and loves Harry Potter…she’s going to fit right in. Jenna is going to be manning the front desk four days a week so you can chat with her directly about any membership questions, or you can email her at info@crossfit781.com. Please introduce yourself and give Jenna our normal 781 welcome!
